The Academy on Mapleton Hill

The Academy on Mapleton Hill was the newest addition to Academy Boulder's chain of luxury retirement homes in Boulder, CO. Mapleton Hill is made up of multiple residential and recreation buildings including a pool and exercise center located in a beautiful tree filled neighborhood that looks out on to a breathtaking mountain landscape.

The role Colorado Controls played in bringing this project to life was installing, programming, and creating graphics for 3 Makeup Air Units, an Air Handling Unit for the pool area, a water system tying together 2 Boilers and 2 Cooling Towers, and a very expansive set of floor plan graphics spanning multiple floors and monitoring a VRF, or Variable Refrigerant Flow, system that controls the temperature for each individual housing unit in the complex.
