We are always on the lookout for great talent and hard working individuals to take our building automation control company to the next level. We are currently hiring for the following position:

  • Automation Programmer

Please keep in mind, this is not an entry level position.

At Colorado Controls, we are involved in a fast-paced construction industry with future plans of focusing on energy management for retrofit installs. We focus on design build projects, class A commercial buildings, process control, breweries, integration, schools, colleges, and much more. We are looking for individuals that are experienced with the following:

  • Basic control programming skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex controls system components, utilizing standard hand tools and digital metering or calibration equipment
  • Troubleshooting DDC control and mechanical systems
  • Proficient with blueprint interpretation
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Visio)
  • Excellent customer interaction skills
  • Effectively managing projects
  • Ability to diagnose electrical wiring
  • Requirements:

  • Vocational School
  • Four year program or an associate’s degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning, or a similar field. We would also accept an equivalent military occupational specialty, plus two years of industry experience or three years of experience in servicing mechanical systems in the HVAC industry (this is helpful but not required).
  • Flexibility to work some overtime/weekends.
  • Proficient in reading wiring diagrams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • General understanding of IP networks.
  • Occasional travel may be required.
  • Familiar with DDC systems.
  • Education Level
  • High School Diploma and/or Trade School
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving history.

  • Building Automation Programmer
