Colorado Early College (CEC) Colorado Springs

Colorado Early Colleges has been a client of ours for quite some time now and we most recently have completed another project for them, this time in Colorado Springs. CEC Springs Building 100 has been retrofitted to house several remodeled classrooms and a brand new commercial kitchen. We programmed and created graphics for 31 Rooftop Units of which there were 17 variations. Along with the RTU programming we also added a multi-thermostat voting system for several of the units.

This system allows two thermostat readings to inform the respective RTU on what the ideal heating and or cooling settings should be to comfortably supply a given room with. Additionally, we are monitoring several pieces of other equipment. Among that equipment is 6 Exhaust Fans, 1 Make Up Air Unit in the kitchen, several components of the Domestic Hot Water System and a walk-in cooler and freezer. Each RTU is programmed with a graphics point that allows us to give the floor plans a real-time color coded animation to show where each supply zone's temperature is in relation to the setpoint.
